This category applies only to technical or lighting support for an event. This award recognizes excellence in elements such as AV, audio, staffing, power distribution, lighting, etc.
Best Technical Support for an Event
This award recognizes entertainment activations that support the overall success of events. Submissions for this category must be for one specific event.
Best Entertainment Activation
Entrants may be employed by the company being entered, a volunteer planner, or a 3rd party planner. Submission must include a reference letter or letter from superior/employer celebrating the success of the event. Virtual and live events are accepted.
Best Event Produced for a Corporation or an Association
This award recognizes excellence in fundraising. Submission must include total dollars raised as well as a reference letter from the charity celebrating the success of the event. Virtual and live events are accepted.
Best Fundraising Event
This event celebrates public events. Virtual and live events are accepted.
Best Public Event
This award celebrates excellence in event supply and catering amongst the ILEA Vancouver membership and is open only to NON TECHNICAL suppliers such as decor and event rentals, photographers, rental companies, etc. Please include an overview of your success, as well as at least one letter of reference.
Supplier of the Year
The award celebrates overall industry excellence amongst the ILEA Vancouver membership. Please include an overview of your success, as well as at least one letter of reference.
Event Professional of the Year
The award celebrates someone who is new or new-ish to the overall event industry, but is making an impact in the work that they do. Please include an overview of your success, as well as at least one letter of reference. *You can also nominate someone on their behalf!
Up and Coming Event Professional
This award recognizes excellence in event design and decor for an event with a total design/decor budget up to $50,000. Photos and budget are required. Virtual and live events are accepted.
ILEA Vancouver Best Event Design and/or Decor up to $50,000
This award recognizes excellence in event design and decor for an event with a total design/decor budget $50,000+. Photos and budget are required. Virtual and live events are accepted.
ILEA Vancouver Best Event Design and/or Decor $50,000 +
The award recognizes those in our industry who are taking steps to include diversity, equity and inclusion into their event and/or their company.

Eligibility
Any ILEA Vancouver member in good standing that has produced an event or qualifying element between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023
Winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Dinner held on June 27th, 2024.
Judging
Submissions will be judged by a panel of international ILEA members.
